In advance of the March sales charts, the final reorders and advance reorders placed with\u00a0Diamond Comic Distributors<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>during the month were released today. Let’s look first at how the books already in stores fared, and move on to the future:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

TOP REORDERED ITEMS for Mar. 26-Apr. 1, 2018 (in invoiced dollars)<\/b><\/p>\n

These are items that have already shipped, but have been receiving additional orders from retailers. In most cases below, the items are in stock and so the orders are being filled; occasionally items are back-ordered, so their reorders will enter into the channel once they become available.<\/p>\n

These are ranked by invoiced dollars, so retailers’ discounts have already applied to the totals before ranking.<\/p>\n

As noted last week, the $500 Marvel<\/b>\u00a0Infinity Gauntlet Box Hardcover Slipcase Set<\/a><\/i><\/b>\u00a0was reported as out of stock at Diamond, ending its reign over these charts \u2014 but the Infinity Gauntlet<\/a><\/i><\/b> trade paperback was once again the top reordered softcover, as well as being the top reordered item by dollars overall.<\/p>\n

The top hardcover was the second-place one from last week, DC’s<\/b>\u00a0Green Lantern Earth One Vol. 1<\/a><\/i><\/b>. It was released March 14.<\/p>\n

The top reordered comic book is one we’ve seen before in the advance reorder charts: Amazing Spider-Man<\/i> #798<\/a><\/b>, which went on sale today. This is the first time since we began running these charts last fall that the top reordered comic book was shipping the same week the reorder chart was released.<\/p>\n

The Artgerm<\/b> variant of Mighty Thor<\/i> #705<\/a><\/b> was the top reordered March comic book; it went on sale March 21. That’s another one we saw in the advance reorder charts. Previously Image<\/b>‘s\u00a0Oblivion Song<\/i> #1<\/a><\/b> had topped March-shipping reordered for three weeks; it still made the chart.<\/p>\n
