With the February sales estimates<\/a><\/b> posted earlier this week, we now have another look at March with the top books that comics shops reordered from\u00a0Diamond Comic Distributors<\/a><\/b>. Let’s look first at how the books already in stores fared, and move on to the future:<\/p>\n

TOP REORDERED ITEMS for Mar.\u00a0 5-11, 2018 (in invoiced dollars)<\/b>These are items that have already shipped, but have been receiving additional orders from retailers. In most cases below, the items are in stock and so the orders are being filled; occasionally items are back-ordered, so their reorders will enter into the channel once they become available.<\/p>\n

These are ranked by invoiced dollars, so retailers’ discounts have already applied to the totals before ranking.<\/p>\n

DC<\/b>‘s Kamandi by Jack Kirby Omnibus<\/a><\/i><\/b> was the top reordered hardcover and top reordered item by dollars. It went on sale March 7. In second was Marvel’s<\/b> Infinity Gauntlet Box Hardcover Slipcase Set<\/a>,<\/i><\/b> which at $500 is the most expensive item seen in these charts this year; it was also a March 7 item.

The<\/span> Infinity Gauntlet<\/i><\/b> trade paperback was the top reordered softcover, which dislodged\u00a0<\/span>Black Panther Vol. 1: A Nation Under Our Feet<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>from its position atop the charts.<\/span><\/p>\n

The top reordered comic book was Terrifics<\/i> #1<\/a><\/b> by DC, which shipped on February 28; it’s still available through Diamond, though its inventory is currently marked as low. Oblivion Song<\/i><\/b> #1<\/b><\/a> from Image<\/b> was the top March-shipping comic book reordered.<\/p>\n
