Click to see the sales estimates for comics ordered in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comichron.com\/monthlycomicssales\/2015\/2015-08.html\"><b>August 2015<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In<br \/>\ngeneral, the third quarter has continued to be the Calm Before the<br \/>\nMarvel Relaunch, with not a whole lot remarkable happening on the<br \/>\ncharts. Graphic novels were a lot stronger, helped by a new <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/CCWDVol24\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><i><b>Walking Dead<\/b><\/i><\/a> volume. <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/CCSecret5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b><i>Secret Wars <\/i>#5<\/b><\/a><br \/>\ntopped 200,000 copies in sales; two other titles topped 100,000 copies.<br \/>\nThe highest-ranking new series launch, <i><b>House of M<\/b><\/i>, placed 17th. On the<br \/>\nother end of the charts, the 300th-place title sold a smaller number of<br \/>\ncopies than has been sold since February 2014, suggesting that the<br \/>\nmiddle-tier titles aren&#8217;t quite as strong this year as they have been.<br \/>\nOverall periodical unit sales were flat, up just 0.02%.<\/p>\n<p>But again, <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.comichron.com\/2015\/09\/august-2015-comics-orders-up-7-strong.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>as discussed here Friday<\/b><\/a>,<br \/>\nthe market was in significantly better shape this August relative to<br \/>\nthe August four years ago, back before the DC relaunch.
