{"id":4643,"date":"2015-01-19T17:29:00","date_gmt":"2015-01-19T17:29:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2020-08-01T14:34:35","modified_gmt":"2020-08-01T19:34:35","slug":"december-2014-comics-sales-estimates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/2015\/01\/19\/december-2014-comics-sales-estimates\/","title":{"rendered":"December 2014 comics sales estimates now online"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: right;\"><\/div>\n<p>The final comics sales charts for December have been released by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.diamondcomics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Diamond Comic Distributors<\/b><\/a>, and as <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.comichron.com\/2015\/01\/december-2014-batman-leads-market-but.html\"><b>reported here<\/b><\/a> on Friday,<i><b> <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/CCBat37\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Batman<\/a><\/b><\/i><a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/CCBat37\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <b>#37<\/b><\/a><br \/>\nfrom DC as the top-selling comic book of the month. Comichron estimates that the issue finished with orders of more<br \/>\nthan 113,000 copies, one of only three titles to reach six figures. Click to see the sales estimates for comics ordered in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.comichron.com\/monthlycomicssales\/2014\/2014-12.html\"><b>December 2014<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/201412Batman37-2.jpg\" alt=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/CCBat37\" width=\"206\" height=\"320\" border=\"0\" \/>And as noted last week, <i>Batman<\/i> #37 was probably not the<br \/>\nhighest-circulation comic book in North America for December, given that<br \/>\nthe previous issue, <a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/CCBat36\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b><i>Batman<\/i> #36<\/b><\/a>, was part of the December <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lootcrate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><b>Loot Crate<\/b><\/a><br \/>\n\u2014 and the numbers for that are not reflected in Diamond&#8217;s sales. The<br \/>\nprevious issue did not re-chart in December.
