Diamond Comic Distributors<\/b> announced that Brightest Day<\/i><\/b> #7<\/b> from DC was the top-selling comic book in North America in August, based on orders from comics shops. And in the second spot? Brightest Day #8 \u2014 marking the first time this year that both issues of the two-a-month limited series have taken the top spots. \"Scott<\/a>\"\"There weren’t many big debuts this month, with the top-ranking first issue landing in tenth place, Green Lantern Emerald Warriors <\/i>#1<\/b>. Likewise, the trade paperback chart was topped by a familiar title: Scott Pilgrim’s Finest Hour<\/a><\/b><\/i>\"\", repeating its performance from July.<\/p>\n

Last August<\/a><\/b> the charts were topped by Blackest Night<\/i> #2<\/b> among other heavy-hitter comics, so the comparatives will be strong \u2014 but it will be a four-week month versus a four-week month, so at least the calendar won’t be muddying the water this time out.<\/p>\n
