Like charts pre-2003, reorders aren&#8217;t included, so under-ordered books like Batman\/Fortnite see less benefit. You can see how just the DC comics ranked <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comichron.com\/monthlycomicssales\/2021\/2021-04DC.html\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>April&#8217;s rankings saw BRZRKR repeat from March, but the gap that month would have been much larger. April&#8217;s top sellers are much more tightly packed. March&#8217;s orders appeared to be well ahead of the last pre-shutdown month in 2020. April 2021 comics orders, 6.5 to 7 million copies, for $29-30 million, have no easy comparative, as last April saw only three new releases. But April&#8217;s showing was well above March 2020, which also had four weeks \u2014 it did it on the strength of 27% fewer new periodical releases.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-6872\" src=\"https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Comichron2021-02-All16x9-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Comichron2021-02-All16x9-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Comichron2021-02-All16x9-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Comichron2021-02-All16x9-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/comichron.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Comichron2021-02-All16x9.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><br \/>\nFinally, we&#8217;re working backwards! Just posted are February 2021&#8217;s initial order rankings, which were led by <strong><em>TMNT: The Last Ronin<\/em> #2<\/strong> from IDW<\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">. February also appears to have improved vs. 2020, despite a smaller DC slate.
