Avengers: Infinity War is still going strong, and that was visible on the Diamond Comic Distributors reorder charts last week — while the advance reorder charts were led by a competing super-team, Justice League. First we’ll look first at how the books already in stores fared, and move on to the future:
TOP REORDERED ITEMS for May 7-13, 2018 (in invoiced dollars)
These are items that have already shipped, but have been receiving additional orders from retailers. In most cases below, the items are in stock and so the orders are being filled; occasionally items are back-ordered, so their reorders will enter into the channel once they become available.

These are ranked by invoiced dollars, so retailers’ discounts have already applied to the totals before ranking.
As noted, Infinity War-related items took the top three slots, with the Infinity Gauntlet trade paperback, the Infinity War trade paperback, and the Infinity trade paperback topping the charts. (No way to get those confused!)
The Weapon X: The Return Omnibus was the top hardcover. It released on May 2.
Action Comics #1000 from April 18 was again the top reordered comic; as expected last week, sellouts meant no variants appeared in this week’s list. (See listings for them on eBay.)
The links in the table go to the Diamond information pages for each book.
And now on to the future…
TOP ADVANCE REORDERED ITEMS for May 7-13, 2018 (in full retail dollars)
These are items that have not yet shipped, but for which the Final Order Deadlines have passed.
These reorders, if books are available to fill them, may or may not land in the same shipping month as the books’ release weeks, so a book’s presence on this chart can mean that an item might make a repeat appearance in Diamond’s monthly top-seller charts.

After several weeks in which either Marvel or DC dominated the advance-reorder chart, this week’s looked a bit more balanced, with Marvel placing 12, DC placing nine, and Image placing four items. Everything on the table was a June-shipping book.
DC led the chart with several versions of Justice League #1, which goes on sale on June 6. Marvel’s first was Immortal Hulk #1, also a June 6-shipping book, which has a deep discount pegged to retailers’ orders of Avengers #684. Image makes its first appearance on the chart with a variant of Isola #3.
There’s no sign of the mass of Amazing Spider-Man #800 variants we saw last week, but the top advance-reordered hardcover was the Amazing Spider-Man by Michelinie and McFarlane Omnibus. It’s not out until October 3.
This chart is ranked by full retail dollars and not units, or wholesale dollars.
We’ve seen enough reorders and advance from the past few weeks from Diamond Comic Distributors to be able to collate some information onto pages for May 2018 and June 2018. Check them out for a further glance at the future.
